Macmillan Clan
The Macmillans have both royal and religious connections. They are descended from Airbertach who was a Hebridean prince. It’s thought that Airbertach was the great-grandson of King Macbeth. There are close historic associations with the MacDougalls and the MacDonalds \'Lords of the Isles\' during the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Macmillans also settled on the Scottish mainland in, Mull; Craignish in Lorn, Leny and Loch Tayside in Perthshire, and also in Ireland.
This is a short extract from the full Clan history which accompanies each of our flags. Presented on fine art paper, your Clan history can be displayed with pride.
