Robertson Clan
The first Chief of this clan was Donnachaidh Reamhar (Duncan of the Stout) – hence the designation Clan Donnachaidh, or Children of the Duncan. This Duncan was the male descendant and representative of the ancient Celtic Earls of Athole. The Robertsons of Struan are thought to be the oldest documented family in Scotland, being the sole remaining branch of that Royal House which occupied the throne of Scotland during the eleventh and twelfth centuries.
This is a short extract from the full Clan history which accompanies each of our flags. Presented on fine art paper, your Clan history can be displayed with pride.
